STVE Training is born out of our practical, professional and learned experiences of managing commercial ventures in remote areas both in the UK and Overseas. With over 25 years experience of managing high risk activities such as.

We have a well polished and diverse skill set, that involves working knowledge of the legal system, delivering expeditions, Managing personnel welfare, Avoiding risk and when the unexpected comes, We can deal with live incidents and manage casualties in a first aid environment.

Who Are We

All training is devised and overseen by Fintan Godkin. A former Police Sergeant who worked as a Hostage and Crises Negotiator, Disaster Victim Identification and Recovery Team Leader amongst many other roles in a 17 year career. Fintan then became the founding member and operational lead and Safety Advisor for MUUK-Adventures. Where he has and continues to lead expeditions and adventure breaks across the UK and World Wide.

• S.C.A.R.E.D Training

This is a mnemonic that we live by when planning the safety of an expedition to remote areas or a high risk event. This ensures we have a thorough checklist and a thought process that can be audited and scrutinised in the worse case scenario. But to have check list is one thing, understanding it and knowing how to use it is another. That is want we want to teach you, “To know what you don’t know”. This course also includes a comprehensive remote first aid course and is run with a mixture of outdoor scenarios and classroom based input to consolidate your learning.
